There was a free "barbeque" in Aron Quad. Voodoo BBQ catered it. Sadly the beer was MIA, and Cynthia Cherrey had nothing to do with that. By the way, she got rid of the free beer at Crawfest. Something about there not being a point in having alcohol at an event where most students "are under the influence already legal drinking age."
Whitney's friend Puja is visiting, so we took her to Dick & Jenny's for dinner. She's a vegetarian, but their one vegetarian entree satisfied her. Whit and I split an escargot'boy, which is still amazing, for an appetizer. I got the "Iron Skillet Seared Duck Breast & Alligator Sausage with Honey Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Southern Greens & Creole Mustard-Sage Demi Glace." It was fantastic, almost like eating a poultry steak. We skipped desserts because of a preemptive Creole Creamery visit earlier in the afternoon.
